My testimony for the glory of God

Kvpy is a scholarship exam. It’s date of registration was from 15 July to 23 of August. I was aware about it on 22nd August and had applied the same day. I got the application form.

I had given four city names including Bhubaneswar.

Some of my friends were saying that those who apply very late,may get centres which may be in Bhubaneswar or in other places as given by the applicants.

I have also heard such facts so and there are some chances of happening that the centres may be outside the city of where the applicant resides

I thought about the where will be my centre but then I stopped thinking and asked Lord to give me the centre for which He has already planned for.

I meditated on the word of God which says

John: 14. 13. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. – Bible Offline

I prayed to Lord about it. I had asked him to give me a centre in Bhubaneswar if He wills and if not, then a centre where His plans will be successful and His name will be glorified.

I kept on praying to the Lord with the faith that I have already received a centre here in Bhubaneswar. As the word of God says

Mark: 11. 24. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. – Bible Offline

Today I opened the site to download the admit card in which I will get the centre name. I prayed, thanked the Lord for His will and opened

I have got a centre in Bhubaneswar at a very good institute. Hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah

I was stunned and my heart overflowed with joy, happiness and thanksgiving

Praise the Lord. All glory, honor and praise to God.

I prayed to Lord and thanked Him for His will.

Please pray for me as the exam is on 5th November 2017. I am willing to qualify the exam but I will and pray the will of my Father, the ALMIGHTY GOD, be done and only His name be glorified and praised. He knows what is good for us better than what we know.

I learnt that whenever we ask Lord something, we need to ask His will and believe that His will and plans will be done. As His word says

Jeremiah: 29. 11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. – Bible Offline

Sometimes we may get what we desire most and sometimes not. We should always have the hope and believe in Jesus that whatever will happen, it is according to His plans and it is the BEST FOR US.

All glory to God

And I also learnt that the word of Lord and His will is final. People may say many things,but it is Lord who does everything and those who believe in Jesus, who is our only hope, will never be out to shame as it is His promise and His promises NEVER FAIL.

Isaiah: 54. 4. Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. – Bible Offline
