The Plans of the Lord Stands Forever Exactly As He Interprets Them to Us

TO REMEMBER:

When two full years had passed, Pharaoh had a dream: … He fell asleep again & had a second dream: … In the morning his mind was troubled, so he sent for all the magicians & wise men of Egypt. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but no one could interpret them for him. Then the chief cup bearer said to Pharaoh, “Today I am reminded of my shortcomings. … a young Hebrew was there with us (in prison), … We told him our dreams, … And things turned out exactly as he interpreted them to us …”

TO UNDERSTAND:

Pharaoh, the ruler of Egypt, got a message from GOD through two dreams, revealing the future of his kingdom. But he nor his wise people or magicians couldn’t understand it, as they didn’t know GOD, the one true ruler of the Universe. It was when they had all come to the end of themselves that light dawns through the cup bearer who for about two years had forgotten Joseph, the young man of GOD!

It was GOD’s plan to work through the ‘testimony’ of this cupbearer & that was the reason why he was spared from facing a ‘death sentence’ as his fellow-prisoner!

The plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.  (Ps.33:11)
