TO REMEMBER:

Joseph said to the people, “Now that I have bought you and your land today for Pharaoh, here is seed for you so you can plant the ground. But when the crop comes in, give a fifth of it to Pharaoh. The other four-fifths you may keep as seed for the fields and as food for yourselves and your households and your children.” “You have saved our lives,” they said. “May we find favor in the eyes of our lord; we will be in bondage to Pharaoh.”

TO UNDERSTAND:

After settling down his father & brothers, Joseph got busy again with the responsibilities of the Kingdom. While Pharaoh took care of Joseph & his family needs, Joseph took care of Pharaoh & the Kingdom needs faithfully!

Joseph was more as a mediator between the people & Pharaoh. In between, he didn’t seek for any personal benefits but used all his administrative & business skills to make Pharaoh & the Kingdom’s treasury rich!

If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s family?

 (1 Tim.3:5)

Jesus said, “Seek first the kingdom of GOD & His righteousness, & all these things will be given to you as well.”
