‘The Presence Of GOD’ Is All That Matters No Matter the Circumstance

TO REMEMBER:

Before the years of famine came, two sons were born to Joseph by Asenath daughter of Potiphera, priest of On. Joseph named his firstborn Manasseh & said, “It is because God has made me forget all my trouble & all my father’s household.” The second son he named Ephraim & said, “It is because God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering.”

? – Gen.41:50-52

TO UNDERSTAND:

Joseph had many troubled days but he could endure it all. He was conscious that it was GOD who helped him overcome all the bad/sad days. Troubles, afflictions & disappointments are only for a season! There is always light at the end of the tunnel! Not realising this, many take adverse hasty decisions & even try to end their life!

Joseph also acknowledges the fact that it was God who had made him fruitful in the very foreign land where he had to suffer unjustly!

Jesus said to His disciples, “Without me you can do nothing!” (Jn.15:5)

Whether a circumstance demands us to be defensive or offensive, ‘the presence of GOD’ is all that matters! ??
