Are You Afraid of Going to Hell?

Many people living in this world have gone astray. They listen only to what their heart or intellect teaches them. It is not a new word to spell, that they use their knowledge and wisdom to gain many riches that are far from spirituality. They don’t want to listen to prophets, pastors or evangelists and often argues them when talked about it.

Where lays your eternity- Heaven or Hell?

Let me tell you, what happens to such people in the end. They end up in eternal hell. They go far from the blessings of the living God. They realize that worldly desires, satisfaction and happiness is all that is left for their life to enjoy until the day appears that they see God’s wrath poured upon them. Their heart is so much blinded by worldly fashion that they fail to recognize their own soul that one day it will rot in hell.

Rev 21: 8 tells us that “the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” From this verse we know that God’s wrath is poured out for those who don’t obey him and who do not repent for their sinful wrong doings.

There are other verses in Bible that speaks of going to hell because of a person’s faith, belief, works, wrath of God and an unrepented soul. 2 Thes 1:9, Mat 13: 50, Jud 1:7, all speak about the fate of a person that will end up in eternal hell that is lake of fire.

Are you aware of the danger?

As per the statement made by a famous author Jonathan Edwards, “Do we who have the care of souls know what hell is? Have we seen the state of the damned? Are we aware how dreadful their case is? Do we know that most people go there unaware of their danger? And do we see that our hearers are not aware of their danger? If we knew all this, it would be morally impossible for us to avoid passionately telling them the dreadfulness of that misery and their great exposure to it. We would cry aloud to them!”

We cannot escape from sin, but we are given with a one way solution which is through our true and loving Lord Jesus Christ. He says in John 14: 6 that he is the only way, truth and life and one savior to lead us out from eternal damnation. For people whose soul is unsaved, Jesus came to save the sinners out of the clutches of sin. He died and rose again for us that we will not see death or hell because of his sacrifice. However, men didn’t want to get rid of sin because they loved being a sinner and enjoy its pleasure.

Have you decided yet?

Millions and millions of souls are yet to be saved today. Gospel is yet to be preached to the lost soul. They need to be aware how tormenting and painful “Hell” is for a man. Lastly, Jesus says us, Mark 8: 36 “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Since our soul is such a precious thing, we should never let go of it whatever be the consequence. For sinners it is easy to enter into punishment of hell, but heaven is prepared to them who abide under God’s shadow and grace.

Let us not neglect such a great salvation because God loves us and never wants us to send us to hell where lays eternal destruction of one’s soul. It is the choice of men for which he receives his punishment in hell. If you are worried of going to hell, there’s still time to be saved from the fiery flames that torments day and night. It is time for you to receive Jesus Christ in your life and live a joyful life under his blessings and armor or grace. If will receive such a salvation and a place called “Heaven” which is utterly far from wrath, pain, suffering, lose, and shame. God welcomes you to heaven with a holy and blessed calling, just listen to him!!
