Guarding Your Heart

The Bible says, ” Above all guard your heart, for from it springs up the issues of life. “

All matters that occur in our life have their roots in the heart. Just like mind is the seat of thoughts and imaginations likewise heart is the seat of emotions and feelings.

Whether it be contentions, lusts, selfishness, pride, jealousy, hatred, drunkenness etc. all originates from the heart…The mind perceives and the heart portrays…

In the book of proverbs 23:7 the bible says, ” As a man thinks in his heart so is he…” The intentions of our heart drive our every actions…

Therefore,

The only solution to prevent your heart from pollution is to treasure the holy scriptures in your hearts..As the bible says, ” Let the word of God richly dwell in you in all wisdom “.

 Only this could save your heart from the wrong inclinations and make it immune to all negative stimulations…Read the Bible daily…Ask the Holy spirit to sharpen your memory

 and conscience..The more you memorize and apply..The more will it guide your decisions..Try it for yourself..
