Remaining True to Personal Convictions

Usually this is an observed trend in today’s world:-

“Those who make the rules also break the rules.”

Sadly speaking,

This very notion has infiltrated the church and lifestyle of individual believers. We make promises but don’t keep them. We take false oaths and don’t maintain our vows.

We preach what we do not practice. We are very smart at playing the hypocrite and then accusing others of their moral failures.

I get reminded of an old song that goes on like this:-

” You have your rules and regulations,

All designed to keep you safe,

But when rules start getting broken you start question yourself. “

When we take the limits that we set for ourselves casually enough at that moment people doubt our integrity in the faith. We put ourselves into great trouble by doing so.

The real reason why we face this problem is that we don’t take seriously the design and order setup by God in our church, our families and

our individual lives. We are leading a compromising life that easily yields to the pressures of giving up our christian principles of living. The only solution to this pollution of

the enemy is what Jesus said,

” Let your “yes” be “yes” and let your “no” be “no”. If anything else proceeds from your mouth, it is from the evil one. “

✝️Believe that✝️

Amen!!
