The Unquestionable Authority Of Christ

The Lord says,

“I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”

It is his choice whom to raise up and whom to bring down

He is the sovereign one. He does as he pleases. No one can demand anything from him. He is not accountable to us rather we are accountable to him. We owed our sin debt to him but he has graciously cancelled them by his sacrificial death on the cross. He owes nothing to us. He is not unfair or unjust. He is the righteous one who is ever-faithful to his chosen ones.
