Holy Life Is A Jolly Life

Romans 6:1-2

What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?

” Holy life is a Jolly life. “

One of the purpose of the Holy Spirit in the present dispensation of grace is to make us holy according to the will of the Father, in the pattern of the Holiness demonstrated in the life of the Son Jesus Christ.

It is the Lord’s desire for all of us to be holy and grow holier and holier  into his perfect image. You will experience more joy, peace and contentment in life when you stay away from sin because sin will never make you happy.

Do not fret, if your life has not been in line with the pattern of God’s holiness today because Jesus is telling you,

” Stop trying to do it yourself and allow me to make you holy. Without my grace you cannot bear the fruit of holiness. So, repent of your pride and surrender at my feet. I love you and I will make you an example of holiness in the midst of believers and the society. “

And remember always,

” Holiness is not the way to Jesus , but Jesus is the way to holiness. “
